DIY Lace Star Ornament Kit

Follow generations of Czech artisans with this incredible kit! Authentic glass beads come together to make an exquisite ornament that will really make you feel like a professional. Finished ornament measures 2.5 inches. 

Kit includes everything you need to make one ornament, including illustrated instructions with text written in Czech. We've translated them for you in our Let's Make a Lace Star Ornament blog post! You will also need a pair of scissors. 

This is a great kit for kids ages 6+ with adult help, or 10+ on their own. Kids will be able to do all of the beading work, and adults should help with the wire work. Just be careful and remember that the beads are made of glass and are fragile! 

Why we love this: These gorgeous ornaments follow a long tradition, and are handmade in the Polinká region of Czechoslovakia, the last place in the world where the glass blowing craft has been preserved. Amazing!
