The true story of when a real life capybara, named Capyboppy came to live with Bill Peet's family in 1966! Capyboppy eats graham crackers, swims in the pool and gets into other mischief. It's all beautifully illustrated in black and white. The book is very sweet but gets slightly scary at the end when Capy bites a child and has to go live at the zoo. (The child is OK!) But it has a happy ending!
